We welcome automotive enthusiasts to Hayfields on the first Sunday of each month! Please come and enjoy some provisions with other fellow drivers as we gather in North Salem, N.Y. There is no need to call or register. In the spirit of enthusiasm, this is a non-formal gathering amongst like-minded folks. And who doesn’t want to take their ride out for a Sunday drive through the windy roads of upper Westchester? The gathering is always from 9am-12pm. Earlybirds and late-comers welcome too. We look forward to seeing you!

ChrisEversJune 8th, 6:30pm – 7:30pm: World Wildlife Night with Animal Embassy
Chris Evers, local resident of North Salem and Animal Embassy Director & Founder, will take you on a journey around the globe with incredible, live exotic animals. Chris will also introduce Animal Ambassadors such as a Eurasian Eagle Owl, an African Crested Porcupine, a Dumeril’s Boa from Madagascar, an African Bullfrog, South American Chinchillas, an Argentine Black & White Tegu and an African Sulcata Tortoise. In his travels, Chris has photographed some of the most critically endangered species in his pursuit to learn about the challenges and successes associated with their preservation and conservation. Join us for happy hour – food, beer, wine… and animals! Adults only.

SONY DSCJune 9th, 7:00-9:00pm: Live Music – Dogbone!
LIVE MUSIC once a month. All local artists and bands from 7:00-9:00pm.
Doors open at 6:30pm. Food, beer and wine will be on offer along with a cozy local vibe. COME JOIN US!

The band’s influences – and set-lists – include tunes written and sung by mostly singer-songwriters (i.e Simon & Garfunkel, the Beatles, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Ray Lamontagne, Van Morrison, Martin Sexton), 70’s jam bands (i.e. Allman Brothers, Little Feet, the Band, The Grateful Dead), as well as more Jazz R&B styles (i.e. Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, Doobie Brothers, Johnny Nash, Marvin Gaye). On special occasions – when the audience is in a listening mood – the band will introduce some of its original music, most of which has been recorded and is available on the web (though under other names like Chowder & Mark Weigel).

The band of fathers have day jobs in media, finance, education, mid-size manufacturing and medicine, but the ghost of over 100 years of cumulative musical performance experience drives the band’s love of, enthusiasm for, and energy in live performance. Come out and hear them play – woof!
