Stay, Eat and Shop in the Garden.
From a Garden Center to a Garden… Center.
Our vibe remains the same, but our products and services are always evolving…

Spring – Summer (April – Aug): Hayfields has expanded from a traditional garden center and transitioned into more of a retail store with products and services such as home and garden accents and decor as well as unique and speciality plants, tropicals and annuals for both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Think… hanging baskets for the porch, herbs for the patio and pots and containers for the front door or the sunroom; citronella garden sticks and fire starters; potted plants and succulents for those last minute hostess gifts; lanterns and buddha statues; and our favorite right now – sedum carpets and climbing mandevilla, just to name a few.

The outside pergola and greenhouse have been transformed to a garden oasis. We’ve rearranged our tables and seating areas for those that come for provisions, so please enjoy the outside spaces with us!
If there are any annuals or perennials, herbs or veggies, tools or supplies that you’ve seen us carry in the past or would like us to get, don’t hesitate to ask and we will try to accommodate your request. Thanks!

Need a Patio Pot? Pick Up or Delivery Available
The best part about flowers and plants… getting to design and arrange them! If that’s not your forte or you just simply don’t have the time, give us a call. We would be happy to design and plant any containers you need along with any help in sprucing up your patio or porch. Pick up or delivery available along with consulting and ordering. Remember, we wear the plants in this relationship!

Fall (Sept – Nov): Let the stars of fall shine! We’re talking about pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks and mums. Warted, smooth, blue, white, tall or short – we have all varietals of pumpkins – for your decoration, carving and edible needs. Did you know… bigger gourds also have multiple purposes? When fresh, they are great for decorating. When dried, they can take on a whole new life as bowls, birdhouses and dippers because their outer surface becomes quite hard and waterproof as long as they aren’t cracked. Don’t forget… Fall brings on the best of Mums and Asters. Combine them with grasses and ornamental Millet for a striking display.

Winter (Dec-Mar): The holiday season begins just after Thanksgiving. Hayfields will be transformed into a winter wonderland with beautiful North Carolina fraiser fir trees. Tree delivery and set up available upon request. Custom fraiser wreaths are a specialty along with garland, poinsettias, cyclamen and amaryllis. With a large selection of ribbons and decorations, you can chose what you want and we will custom make wreaths from 8” to 60.” Or if you prefer, take home the supplies with you and DIY! Don’t forget about fragrance this time of year like paper-whites, we love them. It’s the gift giving season and we will have a variety of unique gifts that are local, artsy, practical and silly.
